100% TAILORED Private hire

Our 100% TAILORED Private hire sessions are exactly what they say. If you are looking for a Guided MTB Ride, MTB Skills training specific to your needs, and at your pace; we offer 1:1 and group sessions, so if you are wanting an individual experience, or you are wanting an adventure with friends, loved ones or a group.

Choose a 3 hour session or a 6 hour session, or book a series of sessions and we will tailor the session(s) to you. Please contact us to arrange your adventure; or for Corporate events are also available; please contact us.

E-Mountain Bikes

We welcome riders on eMTB’s as well as none powered MTB’s, on most of our MTB Courses, Camps and Guided Rides.

Please note eMTB riders must be at least 14 years old and eMTB’s must be UK & EU “Pedalec” legal. Riders of eMTB’s must also be respectful and tolerant to riders of  none  powered bikes (and vice-versa)

Bike Hire

We work closely with “BIRD CYCLEWORKS” who can provide top quality BIRD demo bikes to hire; including Hardtails and Full Suspension bikes. They also have a small selection of childrens “FROG” Mountain Bikes, suitable for children aged 7 and over.

If you are looking to ride with a bit of assistance, we also work with Specialized Durham, to provide Specialized E-Mountain Bikes such as the Levo or Levo SL. (NB. These eMTBs are “Pedalec”, so must be pedallled to gain assistance; and they do conform to British and European Laws for pedal cycles).

Please note, hire is dependant on availability of bikes, and we do require plenty notice to arrange and collect the hire bikes.

OPEN Mountain Bike Guided Rides

Our “OPEN” Guided Mountain Bike rides offer you (and/ or your family) the chance to Explorer the wonderful countryside around Blanchland (as well as in Hamsterley Forest and other areas of North East England); with like minded riders.

OPEN Mountain Bike courses

Our “OPEN” Mountain Bike courses offer you (and/ or your family) the chance to develop your Mountain Bike Skills with like minded riders.

Our Mountain Bike Skills Courses are based in Hamsterley Forest, County Durham (a 30 minute drive from The Lord Crewe Arms), which has a great network of Official Mountain Bike Trails to develop your skills on. These courses are mostly 3 hour courses which may be combined for a full day.

We also offer Kids Mountain Bike Camps during the School Holidays;  in Hamsterley Forest. KIDS MTB CAMPS are designed to develop your BAIRNS skills and techniques; with different camps available for different ages and abilities. Our 100% TAILORED Walking and/or Navigation sessions are tailored to your needs, whether you are looking for a short walk, a longer walk, some navigation training so you can start your own adventures; or just a stroll through nature. So if you are wanting an adventure with friends, loved ones or a group, we can tailor a session for you.
