Go Mountain Bike is a mountain bike proficiency course suitable for individuals, schools and groups of all ages and abilities. There are 5 levels of proficiency across these 4 themes.

Cycle4adventure has been providing high quality National Governing Body, Mountain Bike Leadership qualifications for over 10 years; through the Scottish Cycling MBLA (formally SMBLA) scheme and now through British Cycling.
The British Cycling MTB Leadership award scheme (also known as UKMBLS) is the National Governing Body award and industry standard for Mountain Bike Leadership in the UK. There are three levels to the awards:-
The Level 1 Mountain Bike Leadership award is a site specific award designed specifically for organisations such as outdoor education centres.
Level 2 Enables experienced mountain bikers to safely guide others on off-road terrain. Ideal for anyone who is either working or looking to work in the outdoor sector.
Level 3 is aimed at highly experienced mountain bike leaders, who wish to extend their remit to include remote terrain and trails of severe technical difficulty.
During 2016 we are still able to offer the MBLA Expedition Bolt-on module, as well as the Night Ride Leader and Winter Ride Leader Bolt-on modules. These are available to qualified British Cycling level 2 & 3 leaders, MBLA Trail Cycle Leaders and MBLA Mountain Bike Leaders.
