The MTB ADULT EXPLORER CAMP is an three day program (with an optional day 4 Wild Country ride), that will help you develop all the Mountain Bike skills you need to go out into the Moors, Hills, Fells and Mountains on your own or with others. We will show you how to plan rides in Wild Country, how to navigate, what to carry, how to deal with an emergency, dealing with mechanicals along the way; as well as the technical Mountain Bike skills to ride the trails. We also discuss weather forecasts, equipment, navigation apps and a range of other important skills and techniques essential to those riding in Wild Country.

This course is open to all levels of Mountain Biker from those new to the sport or exploring; to those with plenty of experience. Our small group sizes, means you can develop your confidence, gain lots of new skills and come away ready to take on the trails, whether trail centre or wild country.

Bike Hire

We do not offer bike hire, but if you do not have a bike, we work closely with “Ride Hamsterley” who offer top quality bike hire for children and adults in Hamsterley Forest and, depending on availability, other venues. Please contact us if you require MTB hire

E-Mountain Bikes

We welcome riders on eMTB’s as well as none powered MTB’s, on most of our MTB Courses, Camps and Guided Rides.

PLEASE NOTE

eMTB riders must be at least 14 years old and eMTB’s must be UK & EU “Pedalec” legal. Riders of eMTB’s must also be respectful and tolerant to riders of  none  powered bikes (and vice-versa)
